TITRE: Stupas in the Hindus valley

DESCRIPTION: The buddhist practice and inheritage is still very active in Ladakh, which remains one of the latest authentic (historical) Tibetan area. These old stupa are inspired from the shape of Buddha, and they are supposed to contain reliques from a wise buddhist. These charming ones are a bit old, few of them are however well maintained, others are newly built, and most of the work is done from donations by the indian government (divison of archeological studies) and the turists who visit monasteries and stay in campings.
